    Putra Perdana Park

Putra Perdana Park marks Putrajaya’s establishment, from a palm oil estate, Prang Besar to the Federal Administration Centre. Set across a sprawling 62.4 hectares at the highest point in Precinct 1, it not only acts as a buffer zone between the natural zone to the North with the offices and commercial zones in the South and East, it also stores a time capsule that charts the history of Putrajaya. The park’s main attraction is the Putrajaya Landmark or “Mercu Tanda Putrajaya”, the first monument to be built in Putrajaya to commemorate the establishment of Putrajaya in 1995. Two iconic buildings – Istana Melawati and Grande Pulse Hotel are also located here. Other attractions include a herb garden, jogging track, flower garden and gazebos.
